Can't remember exactly what it looked like and the link gave me an error, but how about . . . . . . okay, really . . . . . . . alright, I'll say it . . . . . . . . . Star Trek trading cards? Hey! That's what makes us all so unique, right?
Are the cards laid out on cardboard before the duct tape and clear contact paper? I'm thinkin' if they are then maybe a thicker cardboard or even that plastic stuff (can't remember name) that is about the thickness of cardboard but way sturdier.
Corrugated would work, I bet. Just remembered what I was thinking of- plexiglass. That has been driving me nuts! I even googled different plastics to try to find the name, asked everyone I knew (and some I didn't) and everyone thought I was nuts! HA!!

The only thing that would worry me about plexi is that it may be too rigid. I would think it would need to be slightly more flexible. I've had plexi crack and break on me. I dunno. Someone would have to test it. Any volunteers, Becky? LOL ;D
Kristin, you earned the top billing. We haven't seen much in the way of craft pics lately, and yours is a really great example of what we're all about.

I was looking at this again. I'll bet you could make some cool organizers like this. Desk organizers, magazine holders, and those kind of things. Remember making magazine holders out of detergent boxes? Combine the two and it would be pretty cool, I think.

That would be cute done with any type of container with a lid, (think hat box).
First thing that comes to mind is the small round cardboard oatmeal container. Its sturdy, has a lid and is a unique shape. Its paper based but then you'd be doing more of a decoupage thing than using duct tape....hmmmm

I had to come back because I had a thought.... why not use adhesive backed foam? I got a huge box of misc craft junk (roadside) when some people were moving near hear. there was a LOT of craft foam in there. The foam I used for lace purses for my daughter(where you punch the holes and they use a shoe lace)
But for this case, lay the cards on top and THEN cover with contact paper(clear) That foam is pretty sturdy and the sticky on the front is STICKY. Besides, it's colorful!
Leftover air hose(for a fish aquarium) or a strip of broken rope lights would make awesome handles!
