New to this forum and not sure if I'm in the right place. My problem-I bought my daughter a set of lamps (ceramic base in burgandy with black accents) for Christmas (all sales final) as she is planning to redecorate living room in Jan. She's had a change of heart and is going with a different color scheme. Is there any way to change lamp colors? Any help greatly appreciated. Donna

I would tape over what you don't want changed. Then spray the rest (protecting socket, cord, etc.) with BIN primer. That is the only primer I would use for this. Give it a few light coats, not one heavy coat. Let it cure for at least 2 days. I can't stress this enough. It must cure so it does not scrape off. Then you can repaint, decoupage or whatever you want to do to it.
